​2025 Calcutta & Silent Auction

2024 Annual Calcutta & Silent Auction
On Saturday, September 14th, we had a full house for our annual Calcutta and Silent Auction event! With tickets selling out in advance, we knew it was going to be one for the books, and it was!

 

With the always entertaining Jamie Polli as emcee, laughs and good times were flowing as guests dined, bid on the Silent Auction items, and watched in suspense as the Calcutta balls were pulled one by one. Finally, when down to the last three balls, the still standing winners agreed on a three way tie of the $2,000 prize - generously giving most of the proceeds right back to the Camp! 

The Silent Auction and 50/50 raffle were also unmitigated successes- resulting one of the largest cash prizes ever in our Calcutta history!

Early estimates are putting the proceeds from the event at over $15,100 -our biggest year yet!

We are so grateful to you and the Machia Camp community. We couldn't offer our kids the kind of quality instruction that makes Machia Wilderness Camp special without your help. Thank you to all who bought tickets, made donations, bid on silent auction items, and came and enjoyed the event!
